ETIQUETTE & PRACTICE GUIDELINES
Please remove your shoes before entering the practice space.
Please turn off / silent cell phones.
Please keep the floor clear of anything but your mat and towel. All personal belongings should be stored in the cubbies.
Before practice, please communicate any injuries, illness, or medical conditions to your teacher.
Please do not wear any scented products (perfume, deodorant, lotion, etc.).
Silence should be maintained in the practice space. There are other businesses in the hallway so please be mindful as you enter and leave the building.
Do not drink water during class or bring any beverages or food into the practice space. Drinking water during your practice will extinguish the heat you are trying to generate and is therefore counter-productive. Hydrate well before and after class.
It’s best not to eat at least 2 hours prior to class.
Practice at home if you are sick. Do not practice if you have a fever. Take rest.
There are no classes on new and full moon days. The first three days of menstruation are traditionally rest days. Listen to your body and do what feels best for you.
Practice with care and consideration towards yourself and others.
